Meet Mr. Rios

Brandon is a trombone/brass player from Hidalgo, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. During his time at UNT Mr. Rios performed in the Green Brigade Marching Band, the Concert Band, the UNT 5 O'Clock Lab Band, a variety of chamber ensembles, and a couple of Salvation Army Brass Bands.
Mr. Rios spent the summers of 2017 and 2018 traveling the U.S. with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps; during the 2018 season he was the featured trombone soloist for "The Fall and Rise" production. After this Mr. Rios worked with the Prosper marching band in Prosper, TX as well as the Northwest Texan marching band in Fort Worth, TX.
Mr. Rios teaches the Symphonic Band and Beginner Brass. He spends a lot of his vacations visiting his family in Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico, where he also volunteered and taught the Orchestra Symphonica Comunitaria de Reynosa brass section. Mr. Rios enjoys listening to all sorts of music, learning about new tech, building computers, and playing video games. Fun fact: Mr. Rios currently has 7 chihuahuas back home who are being taken care of by his family!
